Nicole A. Leshoure, DNP, MSN, MS, CPNP-PC
Interim Medical Director
Dr. Nicole Leshoure joined Alabama Regional Medical Services in October, 2018, and provides pediatric services at our Northern Health Center.
Dr. Leshoure obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree (2002), Master of Science in Biology Degree (2004), Accelerated Masters in Nursing Pathway Program Certificate (2012), Master of Science in Nursing Degree (2014), and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (2021); all from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham, Alabama. She is a BLS Certified Healthcare Provider, by the American Heart Association and trained by the Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

R. David Agee II, DPM
Podiatrist
Dr. R. David Agee, II joined Alabama Regional Medical Services in August, 2019, and provides podiatry services at our Northern Health Center.
Dr. Agee obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish (2008), from the University of Alabama, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, his Master of Science in Biology (2011), from Alabama State University, in Montgomery, Alabama, his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (2016), from the Western University of Health Sciences, in Pomona, California, and a Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Certificate (2019), from the Central Alabama Veterans Healthcare System (Graduate Medical Education – Resident Surgeon), in Montgomery, Alabama.
Dr. Agee has certifications in surgical training from American Academy of Foot and Ankle Osteosynthesis- Reconstructive Surgery and Trauma of the Foot and Ankle, and Arthroscopic surgery of the Foot and Ankle – American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Miranda Greer-Davis, WHP
Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Mrs. Miranda Greer-Davis joined Alabama Regional Medical Services in March 2022 and provides Women’s Health services at our Northern Health Center.
In 2018, Miranda Greer-Davis obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and began her career as a labor and delivery nurse. She quickly attained a passion for women’s health and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing/ Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in December 2021; both from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.
Mrs. Greer-Davis is certified by National Certification Corporation as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She also obtained certifications in Basic Life Support, Advantaged Cardiovascular Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Course, and Baby Friendly Training Policy Clinical Version.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places in the city, and spending time with her husband Trey and golden doodle, Beau.

Demechiko French, DNP, PMHNP, FNP
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Demechiko French joined ARMS in July 2022. He is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with training and experience treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and across practice settings, from hospitals to outpatient and corrections.
Dr. French’s education consists of:
- Associate degree in nursing from Lawson State Community College
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University
- Master of Science in Nursing with a dual concentration in Psychiatric/
- Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of Alabama
- Doctorate in Nursing Practice from The University of Alabama
Dr. French provides psychotherapy and specializes in prescribing psychiatric medications to adolescents and adults. He treats several psychiatric conditions including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, insomnia, postpartum depression, and other psychiatric diagnoses. Dr. French offers a holistic care perspective that is catered to individuals for personalized comprehensive care. His objective is to partner with each individual patient to formulate a treatment plan that is unique to them while working toward achieving full remission of symptoms and retrieving a quality of life.

Erika Harris, MD, MPH (CHES 2013)
Internal Medicine & Pediatrics
Dr. Erika Harris joined Alabama Regional Medical Services in September 2021. She provides services in the field of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, and was educated in the Birmingham City School System. Dr. Harris graduated with an advanced diploma from Ramsay Alternative High School and continued her education at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences, and a Minor in Liberal Arts (cum laude). At Southern Illinois University, she completed MEDPREP post-baccalaureate program, obtained a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education, and became a certified health education specialist (CHES). Dr. Harris then attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where she earned her Medical Doctorate Degree. She subsequently completed a residency at Eastern Carolina University/Vidant Medical Center in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics and served 2 years as the Med-Peds chief resident during her training.
In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new places and spending time with her husband, son, and family. She has an interest in mentoring youth, preventative care, and educating her patients about healthy lifestyles and wellness.
Kristi Kakoliris, LMSW
Licensed Master of Social Work
Kristi Kakoliris joined Alabama Medical Regional Services in March of 2023, and provides social work services at Hayes K-8 and Huffman High School, as well as ARM’s Northern Clinic.
Ms. Kakoliris obtained her Bachelor of Science in Social Work at the University of Montevallo (2005), and her Master of Social Work with a concentration in children, adolescents and families and program planning and agency administration from the University of Alabama (2021).
Katherine Harrison, DNP, NP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Katherine Harrison joined Alabama Regional Medical Services in July, 2012, and serves patients at our Crestwood Medical Center.
She attended Central Alabama Community College where she obtained an Associate Degree, in Nursing, in 2001. She completed her undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate studies from the Ida Moffett School of Nursing at Samford University. Her follow on degree is a Masters in Advanced Practice Nursing (APN).
Dr. Harrison is certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner and she obtained two doctorate degrees from Samford: Doctorate of Advanced Nursing Practice, with a focus in Pediatrics, and the second is a Doctorate of Nursing Education with a Certificate in Education.

Arthur McAdams, PA
Physician Assistant
Arthur McAdams joined ARMS in February, 2013, and serves patients at our Ensley Health Center and Crestwood Medical Center.
Mr. McAdams earned his B.S. in Biology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1985. After working as a Lab Instructor at UAB for 7 years, Arthur pursued his PA license and completed his Masters in Medical Science at Emory University in 1996. Following graduation, he worked as a Physician Assistant in Greene County, Alabama for two years. It’s there where Arthur first established ties serving families in a small community.

Michelle McAlpine, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Michelle McAlpine joined Alabama Regional Medical Services in March, 2019 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor at our Northern Health Center.
Ms. McAlpine obtained her Master of Arts in Education and Counseling Degree (1986), from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, in Birmingham Alabama.
Previously employed with area social service agencies, advocating for families, victims of domestic violence, and other vulnerable populations over the past 30 years, Ms. McAlpine is the founder/CEO of Generations Counseling & Consulting, LLC and is licensed by the state of Alabama to provide professional counseling services in a private practice setting, and certified to provide supervision to associate counselors seeking state licensure.

Jaana is proud to be an employee of ARMS and hopes to make significant progress as an adult therapist at the Metro Clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays and help students at Wenonah High School help themselves on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Brittany Mitchell, Pharm.D.
Pharmacist – Northern Health Center
Dr. Brittany Mitchell joined Alabama Regional Medical Services in October, 2021, and is a Pharmacist at the Rapid Care Pharmacy II, in the Northern Health Center.
In May of 2008, Dr. Mitchell graduated from Spain Park High School with Summa Cum Laude Honors. She obtained her BS in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry degrees, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Honors from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in August, 2011. In May, 2015, Dr. Mitchell obtained her Pharm.D. degree from the McWhorter School of Pharmacy of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, graduating Cum Laude with Honors. In 2021, Dr. Mitchell obtained her AAHIVP HIV Pharmacist specialty certification.
Her passion has always been making sure that every patient, despite their situation in life, receives the healthcare and medications that they need to live the best life that they can possibly live.
During her free time, you will find Dr. Mitchell at the soccer field watching her two kids play. She also enjoys taking trips to the beach and reading books.

Ivory Robinson, CRNP
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Ivory Robinson joined Alabama Regional Medical Services in January, 2019, and provides Adult Medicine services at our Metro Health Center.
Mrs. Robinson obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree (2009) and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (2009), both from Stillman College, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Her Master of Science in Nursing Degree (2018), was obtained from Chamberlain University, in Downers Grove, Illinois. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the Alabama Board of Nursing, and is also BLS Certified.

Alexandra Scott, LICSW
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Alexandra Scott joined Alabama Regional Medical Services in August 2022, and provides behavioral health services in three of the 6 newly-selected Birmingham City Schools that the ARMS Clinic has begun partnering with.
Mrs. Scott obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Louisiana State University (LSU) in her hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2019. Prior to this, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations also from LSU in 2017. She recently gained her credentials of Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) after passing her boards examination in January 2023 and completing her 2 years of supervision hours.

Hanna Shelton, Pharm.D.
Pharmacist – Metro Health Center
Dr. Hannah Shelton joined Alabama Regional Medical Services in April, 2023, and is a Pharmacist at the Rapid Care Pharmacy I, in the Metro Health Center.
In May of 2013, Dr. Shelton graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School and completed her prerequisite studies at the University at Alabama Birmingham. She obtained her BS from the Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama, in August, 2015. In May, 2019, Dr. Shelton obtained her Pharm.D. from the McWhorter School of Pharmacy of Samford University.
She has a background in independent community pharmacy and has a passion for providing quality patient care to patients across all walks of life. She has an interest in mission work and enjoys precepting students from both Harrison School of Pharmacy and McWhorter School of Pharmacy.
In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering for her church’s worship team and spending time with her husband, daughter, and family.

Brianne Smith, MSN, CRNP,

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Brianne Smith obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (2007) from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. She was an emergency room nurse prior to obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing Degree (2012) from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta. Mrs. Smith holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Mrs. Smith provides primary care services at our weekly Mobile Health Unit Events, which include the following sites, as well as others: the Bessemer Housing Authority, First Light Women’s and Childrens’ Shelter, and the Highlands United Methodist Church. Every other Tuesday afternoon, she provides primary care services at the ARMS Crestwood Medical Center.
Yaleshia Taylor, MSN, APRN,
FNP-C
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Yaleshia Taylor joined Alabama Regional Medical Services in February 2023, and serves patients at the ARMS Ensley Health Center, which is located at 417 19th street, Ensley, Birmingham, Alabama.
She attended ITT Technical Institute Community College, where she obtained an Associate Degree in Nursing (2014). She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at Auburn University of Montgomery (2016), she then received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa (2019).
Yaleshia holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Yaleshia specializes in Hormone Replacement Therapy for men and women, Attention Deficit Disorders, and Preventive Medicine.
In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, traveling to watch her niece and nephews in their extracurricular activities, watching and attending Alabama football games. Yaleshia also enjoys being a fur mom to her cavapoo, Turbo.
