Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS) extends a warm welcome to Dr. Victor Theriault, one of its newest provider additions.  Dr. Theriault joined ARMS as a Physician in Family Medicine, on June 4, 2018.  He will be treating patients at the ARMS Northside Health Center.


Dr. Theriault earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology-Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa, in Ontario, Canada, in 1972.  His Doctorate in Medicine, was also earned from the University of Ottawa, in 1976, and he completed his Residency at the McMaster University Medical Center, in Ontario, Canada.


Dr. Theriault brings with him over 40 years of medical experience, including 13 years of Emergency Medicine, and 37 years in Hospital and Intensive Care work.  In the late 1970s, he practiced briefly in Ontario, Canada, before immigrating to Louisiana in 1978.  From 1992 through 2016, he practiced privately as a partner in Louisiana.  He, subsequently, left private practice for employment with JPHSA and the Daughters of Charity in New Orleans, Louisiana.  He is currently a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society, The Washington Parish Medical Society, and a past member of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama.


In his spare time, Dr. Theriault enjoys investing in stocks, FOREX, and options.  He is a 37 year aircraft pilot with multiple ratings.
