Dr. Dwight Williams obtained his Associate of Science Degree from Lawson State Community College in 1972 and his Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1976. He worked at UAB Hospital in the clinical laboratory as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) and later worked at Baptist Medical Center Montclair (Grandview Medical Center) in the same area. He later returned to school and graduated from The University of Alabama School of Dentistry at Birmingham, in 1986, obtaining a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Degree. Dr. Williams worked in private practice until 1997, when he obtained a position with the Jefferson County Department of Health as a Clinical Dentist. He joined Alabama Regional Medical Services in 2004 serving as Director of Oral Health.
